Statement of Faith

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut 6:4, Isa 43:10-11, Matt 28:18-20, Luke 3:22)

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, and in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return in power and glory. (Matt 1:23, Luke 1:31-32, Acts 10:37-38, Acts 2:22, Heb 7:26-27, 1 Cor 15:3-5, 2 Cor 5:21-6:1, Matt 28:6, Luke 24:39, 1 Cor 15:4-6, Acts 1:9-11, Phil 2:9-11, Heb 1:3)

  • We believe the Bible to be in the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We submit to the Bible as the final authority in all matters of life and faith. (2 Tim 3:15-4:1, 1 Thess 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21-2:1)

  • We believe all have sinned and are in need of a Savior. We believe atonement must be made in order for any person to be reconciled to God. Jesus Christ made a complete atonement for those who put their trust in His substitutionary death on the cross. He imputes His righteousness to all believers securing full redemption for all who repent of their sin and trust in Him alone for salvation. (Romans 3:10-26, 1 John 1:8-2:2, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Rom 10:12-13, Eph 2:8-10, Titus 2:11, Titus 3:4-8, Rom 8:16, Eph 4:24, Titus 2:12)

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (1 Cor. 6:19, Eph 1:13-14)

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation. (1 Thess 4:15-17, Rom 3:23-24, 1 Cor 15:51-52, Rev 20:11-15, Rev 21:6-8)

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph 4:11-13, Ps 133:1, Phil 2:1-3)

  • We believe God creates each person as exclusively male or female, which reflect the image and nature of God. (Genesis 1:26-28, Romans 1:26-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

  • We believe God designed marriage as a unique conjugal relationship joining one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, life-long union. God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man a woman joined in marriage. We believe all forms of sexual immorality are dishonoring to God. (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:18-24, Matthew 19:4-9, Mark 10:5-9, Ephesians 5:31-33, 1 Cor. 7:2-5, Deuteronomy 5:18, Matthew 15:19, Matthew 5:27-28, Matthew 15:19, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-13, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, Hebrews 13:4)

  • We believe in the biblical sanctity of human life. That God believes in the protection of all human life from conception to natural death. As Christians we must strive to uphold all human life no matter age, skin color, religion, or economic condition. (Genesis 9:6, Exodus 20:13, Exodus 21:22-25, Deuteronomy 5:17, Luke 1:39-45, Psalm 139:13-16)

  • We believe that due to the shortness of time on this earth and length of eternity, we should be diligent in seeing that the good news of Jesus Christ should be freely shared in our community, region, and wherever God gives us opportunity. We believe God has called us as Christians to “share the good news” of the Bible and to promote preaching the gospel, training and encouraging spiritual leaders, and encouraging all believers to become involved with a Christian bible believing church or group. (Mark 16:15, Luke 14:23, Matt 28:19-20, Acts 1:7-8, Mark 16:15 -16)

  • We believe that all Christians should faithfully seek to obey Jesus Christ in caring for the least of these in our midst and around the world. This includes giving mercy to the orphan, widow, prisoner, hungry, and others in need. These works are not done as a means of salvation but out of obedience to Jesus for the glory of God the Father. (Matthew 25:31-40, Matthew 5:16)
