Double Your Stock Gift

“I want to make an impact.” That is a desire of every heart. At Kingdom Capital Fund we want to see people make a long-lasting impact with all of their assets. There is an opportunity for you to make a big impact right now. Often when we give, we only think about writing checks. There may be a more advantageous way to give that will make the donation bigger and be a tax benefit. Plus, we currently have a special matching gift campaign for stocks that will make your gift have an even greater impact. We want to encourage you to consider a gift of stock to Kingdom Capital Fund.

Simply transfer the shares to us at Kingdom Capital Fund. A partner will give us a donation equal to the value of the shares donated.  For example, let’s say you give 10 shares of Apple Inc and the fair market value was $115 per share. The value of your gift would be $1,150. Your gift would be matched for a total impact of $2,300. Don’t miss this opportunity to give in a unique way and see it doubled!!

What are the benefits of giving stock?

There are great tax benefits in giving stocks, bonds or mutual funds. You can potentially eliminate the capital gains you would incur if you sold the asset and donated the proceeds (this can result in a 20% increase in your donation!). You can also claim a fair market value charitable deduction for the year in which the gift is made. We would encourage you to speak directly to your tax advisor as well to determine the best strategy for your unique circumstance.

Will the stock be sold after it is given?

Our Projects and Investment Committee, made up of volunteers who have experience as entrepreneurs, will determine the best strategy with the stock. The stock may be sold and combined with other gifts for a larger investment. The stock may be kept. The committee will seek to do whatever is going to bring the most consistent returns that will support important ministry work.

How can I give?

Contact us today by filling out the form below!  We will provide the account information where the stocks can be transferred. We will then send you a donation receipt that states the number of shares given and the date they were received.

YES!! I want to talk further about making a donation of stock.
