God as CEO is a breakfast for Sioux Falls-area managers, business owners, and those that seek to be a Christian influence in their workplace. Afraid of blurring the line between faith and work? You’re not alone.

Our next God as CEO Breakfast will feature a special guest, Dr. Vance Thompson. 

Dr. Thompson will present highlights on how to create a high-touch team in today’s highly automated digital business environment. We desire to be “people first” companies with God as our CEO and elevate the way we care for people. Come hear ways that can be done.

Vance Thompson, MD is an internationally recognized specialist in Laser Vision Correction and Advanced Cataract Surgery. He is the Founder of Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, SD, and also serves as a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Sanford USD School of Medicine. 

Dr. Thompson believes in a team first approach to customer service. Entrepreneur Magazine recently awarded Vance Thompson Vision as one of the country’s Top Company Cultures. As an entrepreneur, he has used his gifts of servant leadership to create countless service oriented business models. As co-owner in Jessup Cellars in Yountville, California, his award winning staff recently won an award for the Best Tasting Room Experience and Best Wine Club Experience for the third year in a row.

A Gregory, South Dakota native, Dr. Thompson received his BS in Chemistry and his MD degree from the University of South Dakota. Dr. Thompson and his wife Jana reside in Sioux Falls. They have 3 children, Blake (and his wife Kayla), Joel, Lauren and two grandsons. His main interests include his family, cooking, and spending time in the outdoors.
